ABB Technical School expands offering


Baden AG/Sursee LU – The ABB Technical School based in Baden is expanding its educational offering. From the fall onwards, two additional course offers will be presented at the Sursee site.


The ABB Technical School is offering courses in operating technology HF (higher examination) and construction technology HF at its Sursee site from the fall onwards. According to a press release, it has had a presence there for two years, originally with the system technology HF course. From mid-October, professionals will be able to complete three years of training in the two new courses, each with two half-days per week. The educational courses can be completed to achieve the title Dipl. Technician HF.


According to the press release, organizational and economic problems in companies will be analyzed in the operating technology HF course and cross-functional solutions will be developed for these issues. According to the ABB Technical School, “networked thinking and trade will be central to this.”


The construction technology HF course will focus on the core competences of mechatronics and construction in mechanical engineering. Students will construct and develop “integrated products such as machines, appliances, and devices in line with the market under economic criteria.”
